Feituras teatrais e aprendizagens significativas nos anos iniciais

Abstract

The present work entitled “Theatrical performances and significant learning in the initial years” is a bibliographic study that sought to investigate whether teachers in the initial years of elementary school I use theater and, if so, what references they use and the learning resulting from their practices. To achieve the results, the general objective was described as: Investigating existing works that present some experience with theater in the early years of elementary school I; as well as some specific objectives: I - Carry out a biliographical survey on the topic II - Analyze which references were used in the selected works III - Foster discussions about studies on theater in teacher training, IV - Analyze learning from the experiences presented. To this end, a search was carried out in the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Bank and in Scielo, where 11 works were found. Of these, only two were taken for analysis, as they deal with experiences carried out in the classroom. The others participated in the discussion on theater, education and teacher training. The results demonstrate that teachers use theater in the initial years and that these experiences provided significant learning for students; but also highlights the importance of paying attention to some limits that stand out when it comes to theater at school, such as, for example, the lack of adequate training for teachers who used theater in the classroom and the lack of support from curricula and documents regulations to insert theater into the school environment.
