A Reprodução do machismo no ambiente escolar: uma análise das construções de papéis sociais

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the practices of primary school teachers of a private school, located in the municipality of São Félix-Ba in the perspective of confronting the sexist / machista constructions in the school environment. Based on the understanding that the social construction of gender is influenced by education, this qualitative research proposes to analyze the constructions of social roles in the school environment being this the legitimized space for the formation of identities. In this way, we intend to highlight the educational forms that children face in order to analyze how these processes influence the formation of subjects and their social behaviors. We carry out a study about the social reality addressing the various violence imposed on women, the impacts caused by a sexist education, the conceptions of gendered social identities constituted in the school environment, and the teachers' behavior towards the machista constructions of their students.
