Divergência de acessos de fruteira pão (Artocarpus incisa L.) através de inter-relações entre os descritores morfológicos

Abstract

Genetic resources must be properly characterized to allow most promising genetic gains in breeding and for the use of these resources by the producer, one of the ways to evaluate the divergence among cites the multivariate statistic, which provides a brief characterization of the genetic affinity between accessions and populations. The aim of this study was to characterize the genetic diversity of accessions of bread fruit tree (Artocarpus incisa L.) via inter-relationships between morphological traits. The multivariate analysis technique to measure the genetic divergence is used. Was evaluated and characterized a total of 43 genotypes from seeds collected in the fruit matrix of Bread Fruit-localized in Slab - BA. Sowing in black polyethylene bags (20 cm x 40 cm) with a capacity of 8 L .It done block design, the plants were grown in field conditions under organic management, the Federal University of Reconcavo of Bahia, in the municipality Cruz das Almas, BA. Height, Number of bole, crown width, diameter at breast height, average leaf length, average width of leaves, number of inflorescences, inflorescence length, inflorescence width: 10 quantitative variables were evaluated. There is genetic variability among the genotypes which showed significant genetic improvement programs of the culture of Fruteira- Bread potential.
