A importância da dimensão investigativa da prática profissional do assistente social na educação

Abstract

This course conclusion work entitled "The importance of investigative dimension of professional practice of social workers in education" has the general objective to realize the investigative dimension of professional practice of social workers in education. Therefore proposes specific objectives present a brief historical background of education policy in Brazil; understand the importance of investigative dimension of professional practice of social workers and present field survey results conducted by the social workers working in the field of education. In this regard, to achieve the proposed objectives, a literature search was performed first, starting mainly from books, articles, dissertations and postgraduate theses. The research is carried out through the qualitative type approach and the data collection was used a semi-structured interview technique. The study is divided into three chapters: the first presents a brief historical background of education policy in Brazil, bringing legal aspects of this policy and major struggles in defense of public education and quality. The second chapter deals with the professional practice of social workers highlighting the theoretical and methodological, ethical and political, technical and operational dimensions, and comes on the investigative practice dimension. It also brings an analysis of the document produced by CFESS-CRESS set "Grants for the work of social workers in education policy". In the third chapter will present the field of search results which reveals that there are many challenges to action for social assistance in education, and that there is still a "lack" about the knowledge that permeate this specific field that can be observed since the formation professional.
