Contribuições do curso de serviço social da UFRB para a política de assistência social de Cachoeira

Abstract

This work of course conclusion described with the title Contributions of the Course of Social Service of the UFRB for the Policy of Social Assistance of waterfall seeks to understand how the relationship between the course of Social Service and the Policy of Assistance of the municipality of Cachoeira occurs. The awakening for this research arose in the experience of the field of internship and all the questions and concerns that arise in this rich process. The methodological approach adopted was based on a qualitative approach, based on a dialectical view and using bibliographic sources, legislation, semi-structured interviews and with freedom of narrative by the subjects who participated in the construction of this work. Qualitative research seeks to deepen the understanding of groups and individuals by being able to understand reality in a multiple and subliminal way, walking along paths of subjectivity. The interviews were made with managers, social workers who work in the social assistance equipment of the municipality of Cachoeira, teachers and students both of the Social Work course. Finally, it is concluded that the Social Work course, in particular through its internship policy, has been contributing positively to the implementation of the social assistance policy in Cachoeira. It is hoped that this work contributes to the bibliographic production and a greater visibility of the contributions that the Social Work Course of UFRB / CAHL has done during these ten years, together with the municipal policy of social assistance
