Avaliação de público na Biblioteca Municipal Carmelito Barbosa Alves: um olhar museológico

Abstract

It presents as objective generality to investigate the user’s opinion who often stay on Municipal Library Carmelito Barbosa Alves to evaluate the quality of the services for it offered, intending to supply indications of its profiles of interests therefore, considers it research of great relevance so that if identifies the different segments of users and to know which the difficulties that the institution finds in the communication with its public, consulting that library’s users who can contribute with important information.The methodology used for accomplishment of this research was the application of questionnaires and the comments carried through in the place aiming at to understand the profile of the users as well as showing the degree of satisfaction of same in relation the institution. It describes the history of the libraries and the museums tracing the relation between its objectives, activities and importance for process of teach-learning in the formal and not informal education. Through graphs it presents the analyzed and interpreted results, pointing possibilities of improvements to be implanted with the focus in the quality that come to contribute in bigger scale for the development of the citizens and to generate, future, a recognition of the community of the educational value and the cultural importance of the institution studied with significant profits with respect to its image.
