Levantamento florístico de um fragmento florestal urbano em Cruz das Almas, Bahia

Abstract

The Atlantic Forest, associated with an area of 1,360,000 km2, corresponds to 16% of the Brazilian territory, distributed by 17 States. From the floristic and phytosociological studies of the characterization of the vegetation, it becomes possible to perceive the physiognomy, structure and floristic composition of the remnants of the forest in a given region. Some factors that influence floristics and the ecosystem structure are soil, relief and climate, which act in all its extension. The present work had the objective of identifying, analyzing and analyzing a floristic richness of Mata de Cazuzinha Forest Park (PFMC), Cruz das Almas, Bahia, Brazil. The material plants were originally created in PFMC from 2008. The derived materials were deposited in the Recôncavo Herbarium of Bahia (HURB / UFRB). Queues were found in the specialized literature, compared to other herbariums and specialist consultations. There were 315 species distributed in 59 families and 168 genera. Euphorbiaceae (28 species), Rubiaceae (18), Asteraceae (14), Poaceae (14), Fabaceae (13), Boraginaceae (11) and Myrtaceae, Rutaceae, Sapindaceae and Solanaceae (10 each), which together account for 47.61% of the species. Regarding conservation status, 25 species are subject to Least Concern (LC), with seven Near Threatened (NT) and three Vulnerable (VU). Eight species were first mentioned for Bahia, seven are endemic to the state, and four are introduced. Incidences of threatened species and new distribution records amplify the importance of this fragment as a record of the Semidecidual Seasonal Forest of the Recôncavo of Bahia.
