| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | A videoinstalação interativa Metamorphosis explora a interdisciplinaridade e a sobreposição de suportes e linguagens, na interface entre arte, ciência e tecnologia, relacionando videoarte, corpo e performance em uma investigação que se dá através do corpo problematizado no mito. Coloco-me em uma narrativa simbólico-imagética da metamorfose humana. Utilizo o corpo como produtor de linguagem, observado como local para a investigação, questionamentos de relações identitárias, sociais e de gênero, revisitando o mito de Ophelia. Em Metamorphosis são questionados o arquétipo da insanidade feminina e suas fragilidades, o casamento, a heterossexualidade, a maternidade e a submissão ao sexo masculino. Em mim e na personagem da peça Hamlet de Shakespeare, conexões entre água, sexualidade, vida e morte. |

| Abstract: | The interactive video installation Metamorphosis explores the interdisciplinary and the overlap of supports and languages, in the interface between art, science, and technology, relating Video Art, body and performance art in an investigation that is illustrated through the body shown and problematized in the myth. I place myself in a symbolical/imagery narrative of the human metamorphosis. I use the body as a producer of language, revealed as a place for investigation, questioning relations of gender, identity, social, eluding the Myth of Ophelia. In Metamorphosis, the archetype of feminine insanity and their fragility, the heterosexuality, the marriage, the motherhood and the submission to the male gender are questioned. In myself and in the character of the Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, connections between water, sexuality, life and death. |
