Levantamento florístico e análise quali-quantitativa da arborização urbana do bairro Inocoop localizado em Cruz das Almas-Bahia

Abstract

The trees of the urban environment constitute a patrimony of inestimable value, both for the local population and the environment. Among benefits more visible is possible to cite the embellishment and hatching of the streets places, amenização temperature and CO2 capture. The town of Cruz das Almas presents in its afforestation several trees that contribute significantly to the good quality of life for its residents, but like most cities facing some problems due to lack of specific technical guidance as well as proper planning of green areas urban (squares) and avenues. Thus this study aimed to survey the floristic composition and a qualitative and quantitative analysis of urban trees in the neighborhood Inocoop Cruz das Almas - BA. For this purpose, was held in collections all around the neighborhood getting copies of the observed data and the elements of the urban environment, including: total height (Ht) of the tree, when the first bifurcation (Hb), distance from the tree to the curb (Mf), distance to the tree construction (Ct), width of the sidewalk and the street, the vegetable growing area, the physical and sanitary situation in relation to the power grid, water pipelines and buildings, damage caused to the plant (pruning , vandalism), phenology, away for a corner, sewage, signs, presence of padding. Through the survey it was possible to record 125 individuals in 28 different species; it was possible to accurately determine the taxonomy of these 22, nine of which are native and 13 exotic species, belonging to 14 families. A percentage of 72% and 52% of the plant is registered in bad physical condition and health, respectively.
