| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho realiza um estudo e ações básicas de Conservação Preventiva na obra Histoire Naturelle des Dorades de la Chine, de autoria de Edme Louis Billardon de Sauvigny e François Nicolai Martinet, publicado no final do século XVIII e pertencente ao MEASB. Realiza uma criteriosa revisão bibliográfica na área de conservação de acervos com suporte em papel e a aplicação dos conhecimentos adquiridos a fim de obter soluções mais viáveis para preservação e permanência da obra. Promove uma breve discussão acerca do conceito de memorial e suas funções,ao passo que, também realiza pesquisa histórica acerca do MEASB, do surgimento do papel e do período em que foi publicado o livro. Permitiu concluir que o livro carece de restauração imediata e acondicionamento sob condições climáticas que não ameacem sua integridade. |

| Abstract: | The present work carries out a study and basic actions of Preventive Conservation in the Histoire Naturelle des Dorades de la Chine, by Edme Louis Billardon by Sauvigny and François Nicolai Martinet, published at the end of the 18th century and belonging to MEASB. Conducts a thorough bibliographic review in the area of conservation of paper-based collections and the application of knowledge acquired in order to obtain more viable solutions for the preservation and permanence of theconstructions. It promotes a brief discussion about the concept of memorial and its functions, while, it also carries out historical research about the MEASB, the emergence of the paper and the period in which the book was published. It allowed us to conclude that the book lacks immediate restoration and conditioning under climatic conditions that do not threaten its integrity. |
