O acolhimento dos estudantes no Ensino Médio em 2022: escritos docentes em uma escola em Cabaceiras do Paraguaçu-BA

Abstract

This study deals with welcoming students with a focus on those entering High School in 2022 and had the general objective: to analyze the process of welcoming students into High School (EM), these coming from the pandemic period marked by social distancing, specifically emphasizing to students who entered EM in the year 2022. And as specific objectives to identify, through teaching writings, the main difficulties encountered by them when welcoming students who have recently arrived at high school in 2022; understand, through teachers' writings, the profile of students entering high school in 2022 after coming from remote emergency education; and indicate strategies to receive students coming from emergency remote teaching. For theoretical support, authors such as Vazquez et al. (2022), Gatti (2020), Ferretti (2018), Lima (2020), Machado (2022), Martins et al. (2021) and laws such as LDB (Law No. 9394/96). For the development of the research, a qualitative approach and exploratory and descriptive research types were chosen. For data collection, we chose to use a survey questionnaire, in which seven high school teachers talked about how they welcomed students entering high school in 2022. As final considerations of the research, it was found that the specific objectives of the research were achieved, where the teachers highlighted in the responses obtained that there were significant difficulties in welcoming students entering high school in a scenario as uncertain and worrying as it was during the pandemic period, considering that this welcoming, or lack thereof, occurred immediately upon returning to in-person teaching, after two years of school closures due to the Covid-19 pandemic, making welcoming even more necessary but more challenging. However, the way is open for new research in the area that will contribute to the better promotion of strategies that promote welcoming students more effectively.
